Chapter 1 Tweaking Presentations :They Snooze you Loose
When I stated reading chapter 1 I was a little disappointed about the so basic concepts included in this section of the book. After a little review and looking into the material a little deeper I was surprised to learn that basics are what is all about. The fact that a good color scheme used in your presentation may increase the willingness to read by up to 80 percent make me think about some of my monochrome presentations in school. I also learned that participation may be boosted up to 80 percent by choosing the right colors and that the colors will improve retention and improves learning by up to 75 percent. Something else that caught my attention in this chapter was the advice given in the fonts to use in your presentation. I typically like to use capital letter, but learned that lower case letters are easier to read. Little tips were taken after the reading of chapter1 and will be applied in my daily lessons.
